The Autobots, forced to flee their homeworld, task Bumblebee with establishing a new base on Earth, so that they can regroup and eventually retake their home. But the Decepticons are determined to exterminate the Autobots. They track Bumblebee to Earth, putting not just his new friends, but also the entire planet, in danger.

It’s a tale as old as time (or at least as old as human storytelling) so the key to tell it successfully is to do so in new, creative, and compelling ways. Spider-Verse accomplishes these goals and so much more.

In Rim of the World (Netflix), four of the kids at the Rim of the World Adventure Camp get separated from their group when an alien invasion occurs. The campers encounter a downed space capsule whose sole passenger gives them a literal key that may be the figurative key to saving humankind. If the kids can get it the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is over 80 miles away through both interstellar and homegrown dangers.
